CHILDREN & EDUCATION
We believe that God wants the best for his children, and that
it is the responsibility of His children to educate the next
generation, to empower them to have the opportunity to be
a light in this world full of darkness.
Our work is beginning in the community of Villa Hermosa,
San Benito, El Peten. We helped lobby for a school to be
built and now we come twice a week and teach Spanish
literacy and also teach English as a Second Language. in a
two room school building.
Currently 70 children are enrolled and attend school half a
day trying to learn in an environment with inadequate
learning materials and school supplies. We are helping bring
supplies and spending time teaching about Jesus and other
subjects .
We also have developed a child sponsorship program to
provide for enrollment, materials, and other needs these
children have at school.
